He Kākano
Poipoia te kākano kia puāwai - nurture the seed and it will grow, flourish and prosper.
This Whakataukī/proverb inspired us to use the 'Aronui' pattern that comes from the Māori traditional art form of taniko (twining), a triangular design which refers to the pursuit of knowledge about the natural world.

Te Kahikatea
Kia uru kahikatea ki tū - success through unity purpose and drive.
We took inspiration from this Whakataukī/proverb that related to the 'Wahaura Kapito' design, a vertically paired diamond shape which literally refers to the point where people or events cross. The pattern - a reminder that change occurs when we have connection to ourselves and others.
